This website does not set cookies, does not include any analytics or advertising services and does not load any content from third-party servers. Only what is technically unavoidable for delivering the site is collected.
This English version is provided for convenience. Only the German version is legally binding.

There is no statutory obligation to appoint a data protection officer.
2. Hosting and server logs
The website is provided via GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.
When you access the site, your browser transmits technically necessary connection data to GitHub's servers. This includes in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the file accessed, the browser used and the operating system. GitHub processes this data to deliver the site and to defend against attacks. I myself have no access to these logs, do not analyze them and do not combine them with other data.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO). My legitimate interest lies in providing this website in a technically error-free and secure manner.
Processing also takes place in the USA. GitHub is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission determined an adequate level of protection by implementing decision of July 10, 2023. In addition, GitHub relies on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission (Implementing Decision 2021/914). Details can be found in GitHub's privacy statement.
3. No cookies, no tracking
No cookies are set and no comparable technologies such as local storage are used. There is no audience measurement, no analysis of usage behavior and no profiling. Consent pursuant to Section 25 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (§ 25 TDDDG) is therefore not required, and there is no cookie banner.
4. Fonts and other content
The fonts used, Manrope and IBM Plex Sans, are delivered from the same server as the website. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other content delivery network. Images, graphics and icons are likewise stored exclusively locally. Therefore, no connection to third-party servers is established when you access the site.
5. Contacting me
This website does not contain a contact form. If you contact me by email or by phone, I process the information you provide in order to answer your inquiry. For appointment booking via Microsoft Bookings, section 6 also applies.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as the inquiry is aimed at the conclusion or performance of a contract, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on my legitimate interest in answering inquiries.
I delete your information as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations prevent this. For business correspondence, the retention periods under commercial and tax law of six and ten years respectively apply.
6. Appointment booking via Microsoft Bookings
On the Health Check page, you can book an appointment for a call using the "Book an intro call" button. The button is a simple link. No content from Microsoft is embedded on this website; no scripts, tracking pixels or booking windows are loaded. A connection to Microsoft is only established when you actively click the link.
I operate the booking page with Microsoft Bookings as part of Microsoft 365. The provider is Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. There I process the information you enter in the booking form: name, email address and the selected appointment, plus your phone number and your details about your request, if you fill these in. Microsoft acts as a processor on the basis of the Microsoft Products and Services Data Protection Addendum, which includes the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. Processing outside the EU cannot be ruled out; Microsoft is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
The purpose of the processing is to arrange and hold the appointment. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as the call is aimed at the conclusion or performance of a contract, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on my legitimate interest in organizing call appointments. Providing the data is voluntary; without it, I cannot confirm the appointment.
I delete the booking data as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations prevent this. For business correspondence, the retention periods under commercial and tax law of six and ten years respectively apply. For your visit to the booking page, Microsoft's privacy statement also applies.
7. Link to LinkedIn
The home page contains a simple text link to my LinkedIn profile. There are no buttons, tracking pixels or embedded content from LinkedIn. Data is only transferred to LinkedIn when you actively click the link. From that point on, LinkedIn's privacy policy applies.
8. Encryption
Transmission takes place via TLS. You can recognize this by the prefix https in your browser's address bar.
9. Your rights
You have the following rights against me with regard to the personal data concerning you:
- Right of access to the processed data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Right to object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR)
An informal message to the email address given above is sufficient to exercise these rights.
10. Right to lodge a complaint
Irrespective of this, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for me is:
